Michelin Guide 2025: all the starred restaurants in Sardinia
Four awards confirmed after closure of two historic venues
The Michelin Guide 2025 brings good news for Sardinia: four out of the six starred restaurants from last year have retained their prestigious recognition, continuing to showcase the island’s culinary excellence.
Two restaurants, Somu in Arzachena and Dal Corsaro in Cagliari, are no longer included in the Guide as they have closed. Chef Salvatore Camedda of Somu is set to embark on a new journey as executive chef at La Riva di Platamona, while Stefano Deidda, former chef of Dal Corsaro, has chosen Seville as the location for his new restaurant, Yo.
It is northern Sardinia that shines brightest in the prestigious Guide, with three of the four stars awarded to the island, reaffirming its status as a land of great passion and culinary refinement. Here, ingredients of the highest quality, often sourced locally, are skillfully transformed by talented chefs, who masterfully blend tradition and innovation into unforgettable dishes.
Here is the list of starred restaurants:
Italo Bassi Confusion Restaurant
Via Aga Khan 1, Promenade du Port, Porto Cervo (SS)
ph. +39 340 1209574
For the sixth consecutive year, Chef Italo Bassi has earned the prestigious Michelin star. At ConFusion in Porto Cervo, guests are treated to an extraordinary gastronomic experience. This exclusive concept seamlessly combines culinary excellence with luxury and refined surroundings. Sardinian specialties and raw seafood take center stage in Chef Bassi’s cuisine, which he masterfully interprets by blending Italian tradition with exotic influences. Opened in 2016, ConFusion became the first restaurant in Costa Smeralda to receive a Michelin star, a milestone achieved in 2019.
Il Fuoco Sacro (Petra Segreta Resort)
Via Buddeu, San Pantaleo (SS)
ph. +39 331 2922999
Fuoco Sacro, the restaurant at Petra Segreta Resort, the only Relais & Châteaux in Sardinia, is open not only to hotel guests but also to the general public. The dress code is casual elegant. Recently awarded its first Michelin star and celebrated with excellent ratings in the most prestigious gastronomic guides, the restaurant offers a menu born from the collaboration between patron Luigi Bergeretto and Alessandro Menditto, a chef from Enrico Bartolini’s team, the most Michelin-starred Italian chef in the world. With a background as sous-chef alongside Donato Ascani at the two-starred Glam in Venice and Marco Galtarossa at Casual in Bergamo, Alessandro brings a contemporary sensibility to the flavors of the region and its rich biodiversity. Fuoco Sacro also boasts an exceptional wine cellar with over 500 labels from around the world, including rare and prestigious selections, as well as wines from small, high-quality wineries. Service in the dining room is impeccably managed by Enrico Zoratto, the F&B Manager responsible for all three of the resort’s restaurants.
Gusto by Sadler
Via Tavolara, località Lu Fraili di Sotto, San Teodoro (SS)
For the third consecutive year, Gusto by Sadler retains its Michelin star. Located within the Baglioni Resort Sardinia, the restaurant bears the signature of Chef Claudio Sadler, supported by resident chef Andrea Besana. Together, they convey their love and passion for authentic traditional cuisine, crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, fully respecting seasonality and preserving ancient culinary traditions. Michelin inspectors particularly recommend the raw seafood dishes, praised for their variety and excellence. These delicacies are served in an elegant and relaxing setting, in a garden with a pool, perfect for a fine dining experience in an exclusive holiday atmosphere.
Fradis Minoris
Laguna di Nora, Pula (CA)
ph. +39 351 3137998
For the third consecutive year, Chef Francesco Stara has been awarded the Green Star for Sustainability, recognizing his commitment to environmentally conscious cuisine. Heading further south to Pula, we find Sardinia’s southernmost Michelin-starred restaurant: Fradis Minoris. Set in a unique natural environment, the restaurant offers breathtaking views through its large windows and terraces, which overlook the infinite expanse of the sea, framed by the ancient Punic-Roman city of Nora and the Aragonese tower. Surrounding paths invite exploration of rare animal species and a symphony of wild scents from herbs and roots, where the fresh water of the river meets the sea’s iodine-rich breeze. Fradis Minoris stands out with its open kitchen and contemporary, eco-sustainable furnishings made from recycled materials. Chef Francesco Stara designs the menu daily, based on the fresh catch brought in by fisherman Mario and local fishing boats, which adhere to traditional methods and respect the natural cycles of marine species. The result is a creative, understated, and elegant cuisine that beautifully highlights the territory’s essence with both refinement and authenticity.
