Everything started in Porto Cervo, is that right?

That’s right, the project was born one summer in a café in Porto Cervo. I was working at Teknowool; Gabriele Sanna had over 10 years’ experience in nanotechnology, and we joined forces to create something innovative and new.

+Nano is a leading company in the nanotechnology sector. What are its spheres of operation?\

+Nano protects and preserves surfaces in a number of sectors: housing, hospitality, yachting, industrial and renewable energies. The +Nano Sport range is used in cycling, right up to GT championships and Endurance events.

Sardinia: not just sea and stunning scenery, but also a land of new, forward-looking businesses. How does Sardinia fit into the conception and planning of +Nano? Sardinia is also a place that provides the ideal balance of innovation and tradition; we strongly believe that our growing business should be based here, contributing to the economic and technological development of our native land.

The circular economy and environmental sustainability are key priorities in your company. What does that commitment look like on the ground? Sustainability is central to everything we do; thanks to our collaboration with CRS4 and the University of Cagliari, we’ve demonstrated that our products are not harmful to humans or to the environment.

Your personal top three favourite places? Ozieri, my birthplace; the northern coast of Sardinia, where +Nano was founded; and Cagliari, the beating heart of our venture, where ideas become reality.
