Pevero Golf Club, the ideal place to have fun surrounded by nature

18 holes spanning more than 6,000 meters, we discover the game course full of natural obstacles

The Pevero Golf Club, nestled between the emerald waters of Pevero Bay and Cala di Volpe, is a spectacular destination and home to one of the most beautiful golf courses in Italy. Designed by the legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, the layout has been ranked by Golf Magazine as one of the 50 best golf courses in the world, thanks to the natural and unspoiled beauty of its landscape. The course features 18 holes, measuring 6,107 meters, par 72, with a women’s handicap of 36 and a men’s handicap of 36. It is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, where players can enjoy the game immersed in nature, with artificial ponds and the scents of juniper, myrtle, and wild strawberry.

Every shot here is a challenge, thanks to the Mistral, the famous northwesterly wind that blows across the region, making Pevero a favorite course for even experienced players. In the 2024 season, the golf club hosted major events, partnerships with prestigious brands, and collaborated with Francesco Molinari, the 2018 Open Champion and Ryder Cup star, who opened his first Golf Academy in Italy at the club.

Pevero Golf Club

Francesco Molinari's Academy is the first Italian teaching facility open to all members and guests of the Pevero Golf Club. This year, golfers will again have the opportunity to benefit from the experience of one of the most technically competitive players of his generation in professional golf. In line with the development plan of the Qatar Investment Authority, the opening of Francesco Molinari's Academy last year coincided with the 60th anniversary of the Hotel Cala di Volpe and its complete renovation, which will be completed this year with the new clubhouse.

The champion will visit the academy throughout the year, hosting coaching seminars and meeting with members and guests, sharing his philosophy based on commitment and focus in the pursuit of excellence. Thanks to the opening of the Academy, the Pevero Golf Club has further strengthened its status within the elite group of international golf courses.

It is a unique place, not only for its environmental and natural context but also for the level of training offered, enhanced by the iconic panoramic terrace with views over the golf course, offering "signature cocktails" at the bar, and the best of international classics and Sardinian cuisine at the Ai Due Mari Restaurant.

Inside the Pevero Golf Club, there is also one of the four entrances to the Pevero Health Trail, a 13km wellness route that winds through the Pevero and Romazzino areas, passing by Porto Liccia Bay and the Grande Pevero Bay. Along the trail, visitors will find 11 fitness stations: Lavender, Rosemary, Cistus, Myrtle, Lentisk, Broom, Strawberry Tree, Juniper, Spurge, Honeysuckle, and Tamarisk, equipped with benches and exercise tools to combine walking and running with training. The trail has a low difficulty level, making it ideal for leisurely walks through the Mediterranean scrub or for running with a stunning sea view.
