Built in 1974 by renowned architects Michele and Giancarlo Busiri Vici, the Verona family is celebrating an extraordinary milestone: managing with professionalism and love this structure built by the progenitor Antonello and today led by his son Stefano with his wife Manuela, means dedicating an entire life to offer virtuous models of hospitality and reception. In ten five decades this industrious dynasty of visionary and enlightened entrepreneurs has created the friendly atmosphere of a boutique hotel with unmistakable features.

Today, the recently renovated Hotel Balocco preserves intact the charm of Busiri Vici's artistic brand of wonderfully blending nature and architecture. The choice of the color white, the creation of a sinuous building and the respect for the colors and scents of the Mediterranean maquis keep alive the spirit that guided the architects to create a harmonious style that has become a model worldwide. To celebrate this half-century of history, Antonello Verona and his heirs wanted to create some goodies, among them the terraced vegetable garden where vegetables and herbs are grown for menus, breakfast and cocktails.

This zero-mile corner of nature perfectly reflects the values of sustainability conceived by Busiri Vici.

Hotel Balocco

It was the founder himself who grafted most of the plants 50 years ago creating an excellence that has few equals. For drink lovers from this year there will be the HB Lounge, a cocktaileria also open to outsiders, with more than 50 gins to choose from to enjoy delicious and tasty mixes.

The hotel's pool, surrounded by rustic Gallura vegetation, will be the backdrop for the exclusive event scheduled for July 20 to celebrate a momentous birthday. Anna's Bistrot, dedicated to the mother who wanted this splendid jewel just as the suburb that changed the fortunes of tourism in Sardinia and the lives of most Sardinians was taking shape, is a contemporary venue open until sunset, ideal for lunch or an aperitif with a breathtaking view of Porto Cervo Bay, a stunning setting that every year sees the most luxurious yachts on the planet sail off the magic-kissed coast.
