ELEVATING YOUR JOURNEY
At Bombardier, we are defining the nature of business aviation with our visionary products, innovative designs, and exceptional customer service offerings. Our unwavering commitment to continuously enhancing our products and services allows us to position ourselves at the forefront of the business aviation sector.
The industry flagship Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft leads our company’s impressive product portfolio and delivers the ultimate combination of performance and comfort with its signature smooth ride. With a consistent delivery performance, Bombardier is proud to count more than 180 of these aircraft in service today, bringing a solid reliability to its owners. Offering a 7,700 nautical mile (NM) range (14,260 kilometres) – with an upgrade path to plan for missions of up to 8,000 NM (over 14,815 kilometres) – and a top speed of Mach 0.925, the Global 7500 aircraft continues to set the standard for speed and range, connecting clients in Olbia with key destinations such as Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro or Cape Town. The Global 7500 jet also holds the title for the longest city pair flight in business aviation, linking Sydney, Australia, with Detroit, Michigan, at an astonishing distance of 8,225 NM.
Powered by GE Passport turbofan engines, the Global 7500 jet uses the latest technology to lower fuel burn and emissions when compared to its peers. Important data on this matter are displayed in the aircraft’s Environmental Product Declaration, as we are the only business jet manufacturer in the world to publicly disclose the environmental impact of its products.
Delivering superior safety and a proven dispatch reliability of over 99.8%, the Global 7500 aircraft is built to access challenging airfields that its closest competitors can’t. The aircraft’s Smooth Flĕx Wing supports its outstanding speed, unbeatable all-weather performance and short field capabilities, on top of being the key to deliver the smoothest ride. To reduce the effects of turbulence, the innovative wing is engineered to offer unparalleled flexibility which acts as the aircraft’s suspension, absorbing turbulent wind gusts, and resulting in significantly reduced cabin vibration and enhanced passenger comfort.
The Global 7500 aircraft epitomizes our pioneering approach and technical superiority. Its sleek performance is matched by its stylish interiors, enabling passengers to seamlessly transition through the day. Thanks to four separate living areas, which feature Bombardier’s patented Nuage seat, divan and available chaise, the Global 7500 aircraft cabin represents an extension of the office, an additional residence, a multi-purpose entertainment venue, and a fine dining establishment. The Club Suite, the Conference Suite, the Entertainment Suite, and the available Principal Suite, which includes a full-sized bed, are complemented by a dedicated crew rest area and superbly equipped kitchen. We recognize that many of our clients use their aircraft as a mobile office, or for completing tasks that are important to them. With that in mind, we designed the aircraft to allow immediate access to luggage, no matter the phase of flight, with an expansive baggage compartment accessible where personal belongings are always within reach.
The customizable cabin features were conceived with state-of-the-art technology, including the Bombardier nice® touch dial cabin management system, which intelligently controls the internal environment. The body’s natural rhythms are kept in check with Bombardier’s advanced Soleil lighting system, a circadian rhythm-based lighting technology that helps combat jet lag and synchronizes the body’s internal clock with the local time at destination. This feature is further enhanced by the largest windows on a business aircraft, which allow natural light to pour in. Balanced by Bombardier’s Pũr Air and advanced HEPA filter system, circulating 100% fresh air at low-altitude cabin pressure, the aircraft’s interior is designed to effectively alleviate the effects of jet lag. Ka-band connectivity is available throughout the cabin, delivering the sharpest inflight entertainment with an available best in-class 55-inch 4K ultra-high-definition screen, which can be paired with Bombardier’s l’Opéra sound system.
The Global 7500 allows passengers to connect to the world’s most dynamic cities in one single journey, seamlessly transitioning from life on the ground to life above the clouds.
THE NEED FOR SPEED
Announced to be the next addition to the Bombardier fleet, the Global 8000 aircraft is set to become the fastest business jet on the market and will leverage the attributes of the Global 7500 jet, while delivering a staggering top speed of Mach 0.94 (1,000 KM/H).
During test flights which are ongoing, the aircraft surpassed expectations by flying ‘supersonic’ and repeatedly reaching impressive speeds of up to Mach 1.015, making it the fastest aircraft in business aviation in more than five decades.
Other benefits of the upcoming aircraft include its low cabin altitude – one of the lowest in the industry, standing at under 885 meters which significantly reduces passenger fatigue and enhances overall well-being.
Recently awarded ‘’Best of the Best’’ by Robb Report Monaco and Côte d’Azur, the Global 8000 will be the longest range purposed-built business jet and will be able to connect cities such as Dubai to Melbourne, Syndney or Los Angeles, and Singapore to London, Honolulu or Santigo.
In a rush to experience the difference of the Global 7500 aircraft with any other aircraft, the owners will have the ability to upgrade their experience as a service bulletin will be made available upon certification to transform their Global 7500 into a Global 8000 aircraft.
A SUMMER IN OLBIA
Throughout the months of July and August, guests of the Costa Smeralda Airport in Olbia are welcome to visit the Bombardier Challenger 3500 business jet mockup. Following stops in Paris and Nice in France, we are displaying the best-selling super midsized jet in the beautiful Sardinian venue for business aviation clients to have firsthand experience of the award-winning cabin.
The Challenger 3500 business jet, ‘’Best of the Best’’ laureate of the prestigious Red Dot Awards for Product Design, boasts the widest cabin in its class, providing passengers with an unparalleled sense of space and comfort. The bespoke cabin is a pinnacle of design and innovation, featuring the industry's first integrated voice-controlled technology in its segment, 4K monitors, and Bombardier’s revolutionary Nuage seats that offer peerless comfort and support by mimicking the natural movements of the human body.
The Challenger 3500 has an impressive range, capable of flying 3,400 NM (approximately 6,300 kilometers), which allows the aircraft to fly out of Olbia to anywhere non-stop in Europe and in most sought-after cities of Africa and the Middle East, including Abu Dhabi, Lagos and Riyadh. This remarkable range is complemented by the super midsize jet’s steep approach certification, allowing the aircraft to land at airports with shorter runways and steeper approaches, like London City Airport. Such capability provides passengers with direct access to central locations, reducing travel time and enhancing convenience. Moreover, the certification reflects the aircraft's advanced performance and technology, enabling it to operate in challenging conditions such as in the winter season, while maintaining comfort and safety for passengers and crew.
