Three gala evenings in three hotels symbolic of elegance and glamour. Three unmissable and exclusive appointments, in which the refinement of the locations of Hotel Pitrizza, Romazzino and Cala di Volpe, the haute cuisine proposed by the best chefs, live music and DJ sets, combine with the magic of Ferragosto and Midsummer celebrations.
It all starts on the evening of August 13: Hotel Cala di Volpe will shine with "Something Dazzling" and it will be Mariah Carey the iconic world star of pop music, who will perform during one of the most exclusive Gala Night of the summer 2024. Breathtaking scenery, special effects and artistic performances from sunset and into the night will transform the Cala di Volpe, managed by Marriott International and owned by Smeralda Holding, into an even more enchanted venue capable of hosting a 360-degree show. Signing the gala dinner will be the executive chef of the Costa Smeralda Area, Maurizio Locatelli, and the executive chef of Hotel Cala di Volpe, Michele Bacciu.
The following evening, August 14, not to be missed will be the exclusive dinner with spectacular fireworks at Hotel Pitrizza. Here the carefully designed dishes prepared by the brigade of chef Daniele Turco will be paired with Ruinart Champagne. Starting at 8 p.m. and until the stroke of midnight, a selection of canapes and oysters accompanied with Champagne Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, delicious mise en bouche, a selection of two first courses accompanied with Dom Ruinart 2010 and a buffet of fruit and desserts will delight the palates of the attendees. Accompanying it all will be a live music show and as a backdrop the breathtaking scenery that Hotel Pitrizza offers its guests.
On the evening of Ferragosto, the party moves to the third enchanting location, that of the Hotel Romazzino: here on August 15 the Midsummer Spectacle will take place, in the Italian tradition, with toasts, music, and sophisticated dishes, all under a sky of stars on the Emerald Coast. The evening will begin at 7 p.m. with an aperitif at sunset lights followed by a fine dinner served on the Éntu e Mari beach. Chef Dario Parascandolo will curate the courses: his menu, chosen for the occasion, is dedicated to exalting the flavors of the sea with the addition of his creative flair. At 10 p.m. will begin the musical performance of The Gypsy Queens. It will then be the fireworks display on the beach, accompanied by the night of the DJ set, to kick off the dancing until late in the evening. All evenings are ticketed and available by reservation.
