Waterfront Costa Smeralda
Glamour and culture meet in Sardinia’s open-air lounge
It’s the most glamorous open-air venue in Sardinia: Waterfront Costa Smeralda, the experience mall which reopens this summer (until 8 September) in the magical setting of the Porto Vecchio pier in Porto Cervo, with many big names ranging from high fashion to design, art and culture, with elegant lounge bars and green spaces embellishing this already special seaside promenade, with a view of some of the Mediterranean’s most luxurious yachts.
Together with other leading brands already present in previous years, the elegant wooden pods designed by architect Gio Pagani will house exclusive glasses by Kering Eyewear, collections by French fashion and perfumery house Givenchy and stunning motor yachts by Ferretti Group and Riva.
Also present with its first pop-up boutique in Italy will be New York publishing house Assouline, with its sought-after books dedicated to sixty years of the Costa Smeralda® project and the Hotel Cala di Volpe.
Because, like every year, Waterfront Costa Smeralda is not only an irresistible shopping destination, but also a place of encounter and culture, where art has always found ample space, with galleries such as Deodato Arte present with original works of Pop and Street Art by internationally renowned artists like photographer David LaChapelle and street artist Mr. Brainwash, and, new this year, the multi-location exhibition of 6 sculptures by French artist, Richard Orlinski, famous for his bold animal sculptures, which transform the Waterfront into a real open-air museum. For lovers of sport and wellness there is an area dedicated to well-being where you can discover innovative Technogym equipment.
Also back are the Arzachena Turismo space, dedicated to promoting the Arzachena Municipality area, and the Costa Smeralda Boutique with Costa Smeralda® branded apparel and accessories, the perfect souvenir of this beautiful place. Open every day from 6.00pm to 1.00am, Waterfront Costa Smeralda is also lifestyle, with the Pop Nikki Beach Pop Up Bar & Lounge, which has become one of the musts of the event, together with the Riva chill-out bar, with its elegant, welcoming design inspired by Riva boats.
